To expand our own understanding of how to make art more accessible to non-specialist audiences, we organized a workshop titled Close Enough to Art?. Two participants who do not consider themselves art enthusiasts took part in the workshop, exploring the Moderna Museet’s collection exhibition in Stockholm for an hour.

Afterwards, we engaged in reflective discussions with them, during which the participants shared their personal experiences and perspectives as people who are not familiar with the art world.

Through their reflections and our discursive exchange, we gained valuable insights into different ways to make art more approachable and engaging for a broader audience.
